Hand of the day: that is the subject of my 365-days project. Hands and actions take an important place in our daily life. We shake hands with someone when we meet. Hands tell a lot about someone: they show age, activities or whether someone is restless. Every hand is unique and significant. Also in visual arts hands take an important place. Through my many travels I come into contact with different cultures, so also with many kinds of (odd) hands. Hence my choice for this topic. My 365-day adventure begins in the Netherlands and after visiting Bali, France, the USA and England in 2012, I am back in the Netherlands. I end my first year of 'hands' in Indonesia.
During this year the character of my blog changed from registrating hands to some kind of journal about my activities and journeys. When clicking on 'nederlands' you can scroll on the right side from week to week, starting at the beginning: february 2012.
